Zigbee Devices Ranked: The Best and Worst from My Smart Home Experience

This product has caused me more frustration than any other on this list. While the irrigation valve works well when it’s functioning, it’s not reliable enough for something that needs to perform consistently. The valve relies on a ZHA quirk, and I’ve found that it doesn’t always activate properly despite reporting that it has. I had to place a vibration sensor on top of it as a workaround to verify if it’s truly working — an unsightly hack for something that should “just work.” I’m actively looking for a replacement.
